175 series engine design is based on the 12V175 diesel engine. It is a high-power, four stroke, high-pressurized, water-cooled, direct-injection engine, and developed by jichai and AVL company of Austria with complete intellectual property rights. It has the characteristics of low energy consumption, high reliability and long life. It has reached the international advanced level at power, economy, reliability and emission index. The engine adopts new technology of electronic control, high pressure common rail, miller cycle, exhuast post treatment, high efficiency supercharging and intercooling, the average effective pressure reaching 2.0mpa, the first overhaul period reaching 35000 hours, and the emission index the U.S. EPA Tier2 emission standrad.
